XYZ - FD puts eyes on all wires reported. They cross reference call logs so they don't go twice when reported on the platform.
Non-electric wires are called into the telecommunications companies. Unfortunately aside from reporting we do not yet have much leverage in ensuring completion.
This seems to be bouncing around due to pay phone which may possibly have been abandoned.

Thanks for the feedback. We have reviewed the comments back and will update so it is clear that FD has cleared as non-hazardous as they did in this instance.
Still working on the abandoned pay phone :)

You should know by now the city is often dysfunctional in addressing these situation. At what point should we citizens do what we can? A voltage detector, $20, and electrical meter, $30, would be able to assess whether there is dangerous electricity present. Or hire an electrician.

The fire department investigated and found it was not a hazard ,see Rebecca's 5/25/2022 comment.
