People have been dumping on Clifton Street between Lenox and Lexington. There's bags of law debris, broken children's furniture, and a pig's head stuffed in a plastic bag (which stinks to high heaven). My neighbors and I have been calling the city's public works department all week. Quentin, who answers the phones, said I need to call the police and get a case number, which I did. No action. I called back today. Quentin said my complaint had been logged, but that he would record it again. I asked to speak to his supervisor, who is Jeff Pescosolido. Jeff's phone is not working. So, no service, high taxes, deteriorating quality of life. Why would anyone want to live in a @#$% hole? Something needs to be done about the lack of community and standards of decency in this city.
